RUDRAPUR: A 21-year-old woman in US Nagar who jumped from her balcony on the first floor of her house and broke her legs had been scared when she saw her house sway in the quake.
She is getting treatment at a private hospital. Anita Kumari, a resident of the Adarsh Indira colony in Rudrapur, was frightened when the earthquake hit at 1:57 am on the intervening night of November 8 and 9.
When she saw her balcony swinging, she decided to jump off. Doctors said that the woman has sustained severe injuries to the head as well and is suffering from mental trauma.
