Part I: In 2025, Indians witnessed, endured or suffered a lot: domestic racism / casteism / communalism / regionalism, gang-rapes, Feku, Lotus, suicides, murders, scams, frauds, inefficiency, incompetence, mediocrity, crimes, tragedies, mishaps, disasters, corruption, unconscionable crowd crushes, stampedes, vote-chori, pollution, bad governance, environmental meltdown, dirty politics, subversion of democracy and worse. People who don't have a problem with any of that, or try to explain it away as the natural pattern and rhythm of life in any society, should quit India. 2026 is nigh. That's not a "Happy New Year" greeting. Anything but happy; to be frank, worse it shall be from now on, for the ordinary people at least. The minority elites, who have shown remarkable evolution to keep pace with the times, and have been driving our times and constantly designing new ecosystems that they alone can control and command (to their benefit, of course), will get even more wealthier, more powerful, more 'creative'. By contrast, the majority non-elites like us, however, have not evolved at all in our role as ordinary citizens. So, 2026 will mark a watershed, a turning point, a crossroads.
