RUDRAPUR: In the ongoing municipal elections, voters from all walks of life, including youth, elderly, and women, are enthusiastically participating in large numbers.

Among them, 19-year-old Suhani Agarwal from Kashipur in district Udham Singh Nagar, set an inspiring example by casting her vote despite having a fractured leg She said tha she is contributing to the democratic process.


This marks Suhani's second time voting, and her first experience with a ballot paper. Expressing her excitement after fulfilling her civic duty, Suhani said, “I have voted for the development of Kashipur. If I can vote with a fractured leg, then what excuse do you have for not voting in a healthy state? Go to your polling booths and vote for the city’s progress.”


Her dedication has earned appreciation from voters, including 80-year-old Kamla Ahuja, who also cast her vote and praised Suhani's determination. “I also voted, and I am proud of this young girl who understands the value of elections. Democracy is a celebration, and every vote counts,” she said
