DEHRADUN: After a departmental enquiry revealing Rs 17.52-crore regularities in two state cooperative units, Uttarakhand State Cooperation Federation Limited (USCFL) chairman Pramod Kumar Singh on Monday terming it as an act of political vendetta, offered to get the matter investigated by the CBI.
He said the probe panel members never served any notices seeking clarification.
“The episode is nothing but a political vendetta as they want to remove me because of my Congress background. However, I have taken out all the documents and would take legal recourse in the matter.”
The probe report pointed out that USCFL paid commission to agents for sale of products outside state.
