Uttarakhand: Toddler falls from second floor, dies

RUDRAPUR: A 30-month-old baby girl, Ishani, died after falling from the balcony of an apartment flat on the second floor. The incident took place in Rudrapur’s Awas Vikas Colony on Thursday morning when Ishani's father, Kamal Kishor, was in the kitchen and her mother was out to purchase groceries.
The child's body was handed over to the couple after autopsy, said Awas Vikas police outpost in-charge Dhiraj Kumar.Notably. Kishor, a native of Okhlakanda in Nainital, works in an industrial estate in Rudrapur.
