Seminar held on Himalayan women and environment sustainability

DEHRADUN: Over 100 participants took part in a day-long seminar organised by the

National Commission for Women

and NGO Rural Litigation and Entitlement

) in the city on Friday. The theme of the seminar was ‘Himalayan women and environmental sustainability.

’The participants included women from various walks of life including social activists, students, gram pradhans as well as village women from areas like Mori, Chakrata, Uttarkashi and Purola. Sessions were held by
