Rs 1.2 cr worth of heroin seized in US Nagar

RUDRAPUR:The Udham Singh Nagar district police arrested a smuggler and confiscated more than 1 kilogram of illegal heroin, estimated to have a street value of Rs 1.25 crore.
The accused, identified as 40-year-old Sultan Khan, a resident of Mohalla Alli Khan in Kashipur. District SSP Manjunath TC said, "The arrest occurred during a routine inspection on Friday morning near Dhela Bridge in Kashipur.Police recovered 1.024 kilograms of illegal smack, valued at an astounding Rs 1.25 crore in the illicit drug market."
