Mumbai tourist dies in Mussoorie

Shridhar Manvatkar (71), a Mumbai resident, succumbed to health complications during his visit to Mussoorie on Monday.

MUSSOORIE: Shridhar Manvatkar (71), a Mumbai resident, succumbed to health complications during his visit to Mussoorie on Monday.
He reached Mussoorie on August 20 and on Monday morning he had gone sightseeing to Kempty Falls. On his return, Manvatkar complained of breathlessness and was taken to the civil hospital, where he was declared dead.
"The victim’s family said he was a heart patient.Prima facie, it seems the death was due to natural causes, but the body is being sent for post mortem to confirm the cause of death," said station officer Mussoorie Shankar Singh Bisht.
