DEHRADUN: A 20-year-old MBBS student from Moradabad, UP, allegedly drowned while taking a selfie in a swollen river at Sahastradhara, a popular picnic spot in Dehradun on Sunday evening.

According to police, the girl was identified as Swati Jain (20), a first-year MBBS student at Teerthanker Mahaveer University in Moradabad. SHO Rajpur, Jitendra Chauhan said that during the preliminary probe, it was found that she had come to visit Dehradun with a friend on Saturday.
