Man found dead with throat slit near Mussoorie

Mussoorie: A man was allegedly found dead with his throat slit at a homestay in Bhatta village near Mussoorie on Sunday.The body, hidden under the bed, was first spotted by a homestay staff member after which the police were notified. The victim was identified as Kapil Chaudhary, 24, a resident of Roorkee. Police said, “The hotel staff said that the victim had checked in the homestay on Saturday along with a man and a woman. However, the people accompanying the victim were not found.” As per police sources, they must have checked out early in the morning.Mussoorie CO Anil Joshi said that investigation into the case is ongoing. Police have sent the body for autopsy while the victim’s family was notified. Anmol Jain
