Locals protest at entry barrier of Picture Palace after 'misbehaviour' by MMC staff

Mussoorie: Large number of residents gathered at Picture Palace barrier of Mall Road on Thursday evening in protest against the alleged misbehaviour by an employee of Mussoorie Municipal Council (MMC).
Local residents accused MMC worker Vinod Kumar, who is in-charge of the barriers, of allegedly misbehaving with a female employee of MMC and also for using "objectionable language" against them.
“Vinod Kumar has been misbehaving with the public for some time. Now, he has misbehaved with a female employee. This cannot be tolerated. We want strict action against him,” said Geeta Kumai, an elected member of MMC. “He has insulted members of a particular region,” added Kuldeep Rawat, a former member of MMC.
Meanwhile, MMC chairman Anuj Gupta said, "The concerned person has been transferred."
