Dehradun/Haridwar: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, on Monday unveiled his party’s 10-point agenda for Uttarakhand, promising to end corruption and providing high-quality free education and medical treatment to all residents if voted to power. Addressing a press conference, Kejriwal referred to his 10-point agenda for the state as the summary of the party’s manifesto, which he said will be released soon by other party members.He also reiterated the major promises made by the party in the state -- including unemployment allowance of Rs 5,000 for the jobless, free electricity up to 300 units, good roads, free pilgrimage to Ayodhya,

and Kartarpur Sahib, making Uttarakhand the “spiritual capital of Hindus all over the world”, government jobs to retired servicemen, and raising compensation to families of those servicemen who are killed in the line of duty to Rs 1 crore.
“AAP made it happen in Delhi and we will make it happen in Uttarakhand as well with zero-tolerance towards corruption,” said the Delhi CM.
Accusing successive Congress and BJP governments in Uttarakhand of “looting” the hill state, the Delhi chief minister said only AAP can provide an “honest alternative” to people. “They have filled their own pockets and nothing will change in the next 5-years if you give another chance to either of the two parties,” said Kejriwal. He added, “Give our party a chance this time and we will ensure unprecedented development of the state.”
