DEHRADUN: The Anubhuti Uttarakhand organised a special screening of two films - Sunpat and Pataal Tee - that have won the prestigious Indian Panorama recognition at two consecutive editions of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) here, on Saturday evening.
The event was attended by a gathering of writers, musicians, artists, and filmmakers. Rahul Rawat, director of 'Sanpat' and founder of Anubhuti Uttarakhand, said that they aim to unite people from their community with Uttarakhand cinema to bring global attention to Uttarakhand in order to promote a vibrant film market.
'Pataal-Tee' unveils an enigmatic world nestled within Uttarakhand's heart, while 'Sunpat' transports audiences back to the cherished innocence of childhood, evoking laughter and heartwarming emotions, Rawat said.
He added that the culmination of this journey will be celebrated through a public screening of the films at newly inaugurated 'Himalayan Cultural Centre' on August 19 and 20.
