was hearing the case and it will be heard next on May 21.
Earlier, a single bench of the HC had issued a contempt notice on April 26, 2018. The notice was issued while hearing the case of
Trilok Singh Kathait
, a resident of
Rudraprayag
, who worked in the state education department as a teacher on contract but was not getting paid. Kathait who retired in 2011 filed the petition in 2017.
The affidavit in question was filed by CN Kala, chief education officer, Rudraprayag district in the same case.
After the fact came to light that false affidavit was filed from the state government side in the case, the court had put him to notice to explain why he should not be held guilty forcommitting the contempt of the court.
