DEHRADUN: The Uttarakhand high court, in response to a petition filed by a liquor shop bidder in Haridwar, has ordered Prabha Shankar Mishra, district excise officer, to provide his mobile number and call details report (CDR) for September 26 and 27, days when bids were accepted.
Xitij Kaushik, the petitioner's lawyer, told TOI that the excise department had issued a notice on September 25 inviting tenders for the country liquor shop on Laksar Road in Haridwar, with a submission deadline of September 27. The court also directed defendants to submit their counter-affidavit in two weeks.
