Hinting at a possible change of CM by the BJP, Harish Rawat in his post said that judging by the results of Delhi polls and the activities in BJP, it looked as if the “state was heading towards another political instability”. He further wrote that BJP was responsible for pushing Uttarakhand into instability right from the time the state was created. “I stand by what I have written. Any change hampers the development work and pushes the state backwards,” Harish Rawat said on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the post on social media by the former CM has further set tongues wagging about the speculations on change of CM in the state.

On the sidelines of an event, CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said, “[Harish] Rawat ji is a senior leader of opposition party and is performing his duty.” He did not fail to take a swipe at the senior Congress leader quipping that if the post was linked to the recent Delhi polls, then, “he needs to give it a serious thought as Congress has performed worst there”.

The CM also said that the BJP has increased its vote share as well as the number of seats in Delhi and “if anyone has lost everything, it was the Congress party”.
