Gang of bike lifters busted, 3 held

Haridwar: A tailor, a bike mechanic and a part-time rapper were arrested after police busted a gang of bike lifters in Shyampur police station area of Haridwar city.Eight stolen bikes and parts of another were recovered from their possession. Shyampur police station SHO Nitesh Sharma said, "Our team had been closely monitoring the area after several bike thefts were reported. We arrested tailor Deepak, bike mechanic Javed and rapper Mukesh Bisht -- all residents of Shyampur area. Two other members of the gang are absconding."
