Dehradun: Not paid salary for 4 months, teachers and other employees of government-aided junior high schools have written to the state’s chief election officer, seeking her intervention.
The teachers said if a solution is not worked out soon, they will boycott poll duty.
They said despite not getting salaries since October last year, they have been taking online classes, with most of the staff roped in for election-related duties till February 14.

has released a list of 455 vacant assistant professor posts in various government degree colleges in Uttarakhand.
A relaxation of a year has been given to the candidates. Now, candidates aged between 21 and 43 are eligible to apply for the latest vacancies. Also, those who have obtained less than 45% marks in bachelor’s degree can also apply.
