has decided to give her one month salary for the

PMCARES Fund

to help fight the Covid-19 threat, a communique from the Raj Bhawan said on Monday.

Earlier in the day, the

governor

sought information about the arrangements regarding testing and treatment of Covid-19 in three hospitals of the state by speaking to doctors, nurses and lab superintendents directly.

She also inquired about the health progress and well being of patients. The governor said that contribution of doctors,nurses and para medical staff was very important in the present scenario.

She appealed to the people to co-operate with the state and central government as much as possible in the present situation.

It was called the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund.<br/>The Fund was set up in 1948, two years before India became a Republic. No Prime Minister, including Lal Bahadur Shastri, VP Singh, IK Gujral, Charan Singh, Chandra Shekhar, AB Vajpayee and Deve Gowda, had any problem managing it.<br/>Now, Narendra Modi has set up a “four-member” Trust to run a quasi-official Fund called the PM-Cares Fund. I would like to read its Trust Deed to know how it would be operated.<br/>Can anyone help me get a copy of the same?
