Amit Sinha, ADG, police telecommunications, said, "Almost all 13 districts of the state have hilly terrain, so we decided to use drones."

"Police will survey areas and look for spots that can be turned into parking facilities. Once the spots are identified, police will speak to other departments and take further action. The initiative will focus on three districts, Rudraprayag, Chamoli and Uttarkashi, which host the Char Dham shrines," he added.
