Dehradun: The video of a Peyjal Nigam employee allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 9 lakh for clearing funds for the construction of a sewage treatment plant in Mothrowala here has gone viral on social media.
The video purportedly shows Imran Ahmed, an engineer who is in-charge of the plant, taking bribe from the contractor handling the project. He is even heard saying that the money would be distributed among the other senior officials, including the managing director.
