Body of youth found in Naini lake

NAINITAL

: The body of an 18-year-old youth was found in Naini lake on Friday morning. It was spotted by a local resident who was on a morning walk.

Harish Chandra Pant, additional superintendent of police, Nainital, said, “The family of the deceased has been informed. The boy has been identified as Deepak Kumar, a resident of

Almora

district.”

Deepak was travelling for personal work to the town last month and had been reported missing since two weeks. No suicide note was found on the body.
