Anand Swaroop named Garhwal Commissioner, Ashish Chauhan new Doon DM
Dehradun: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle late on Saturday evening, the Uttarakhand govt appointed Anand Swaroop as the new Garhwal divisional commissioner. He replaces Vinay Shankar Pandey, who has been given charge of the civil aviation, medical health and medical education departments as secretary.
Namami Bansal, a 2017-batch IAS officer and Dehradun municipal commissioner, has been appointed additional secretary in the higher education department. Alok Kumar Pandey has been named the new municipal commissioner of Dehradun.
BVRC Purushottam has been appointed secretary, higher education.
Overall, the govt reshuffled 19 IAS officers and 10 PCS officers.
