DEHRADUN

: At least 30 Border Security Force (BSF) personnel who arrived in Kotdwar assembly constituency from Gujarat for poll duty have tested positive for Covid-19. Speaking to TOI, Kotdwar circle officer GL Kholi said, “Of 82 who arrived from Gujarat, 30 personnel of BSF's 50th battalion have been found infected with the virus. They have been quarantined by the health department.”

It is learnt that some officers and soldiers were stationed at the Bhuj border. On reaching Kotdwar on Tuesday, RT-PCR test was conducted on them, and the reports came out positive.
