26-yr-old falls into Ganga while performing Karwa Chauth rituals, body not yet found

RISHIKESH: A 26-year-old woman accidentally fell into the Ganga river while performing Karwa Chauth rituals at Rishikesh’s Sai Ghat on Wednesday night.
The police divers have launched a search operation to trace her body. The woman identified as Boby and her husband Bittu (28), resident of Rishikesh, went to Sai Ghat on Wednesday night where she slipped and fell into the Ganga.Rishikesh station house officer Ritesh Shah told TOI, “The incident took place around 7 pm on Wednesday while performing Karwa Chauth rituals. The police divers are trying to track the victim’s body.”
