19-year-old killed; another hurt after bike collides with truck

Dehradun: A 19-year-old youth was killed and another teenager sustained critical injuries after the bike they were riding on collided with a truck near Dholka tri-junction area in the Prem Nagar locality of Dehradun.
The deceased has been identified as Anshul Sharma, a resident of Vikasnagar city, while the injured, identified as Sagar Thakur, has been referred to a higher centre in Dehradun for treatment.
“Both the teenagers were coming towards Dehradun and the truck was going in the opposite direction when the accident took place. On receiving information, a team of police reached the spot and found the two injured boys. Both were taken to the hospital where one was pronounced dead,” said a police official.
