NIA issues notice to Akhtar Hussain Khan
CUTTACK: A day after raiding his house and questioning him, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued notice to Akhtar Hussain Khan asking him to depose before it on December 4 at its headquarters in Delhi.

Police sources said the NIA had some intelligence inputs about Khan following which they had raided his house. The NIA has seized Khan’s mobile phone, his bank passbook and few documents recovered from his house.

Sources said Khan has received some phone calls from Pakistan in last few months and NIA wants more information about these calls.
Khan was working in a garage in Saudi Arabia for a decade before returning to his village four years ago. Since then he has been staying with his wife and children in Samantarapur village.
