: Orissa High Court has allowed film producer
Shrikant Mohta, arrested in connection with the Rose Valley case, to undergo treatment at a super specialty hospital.
Mohta has been in judicial custody at the Jharpada Jail in Bhubaneswar ever since his arrest on January 24. Mohta had filed a bail application on June 20 and then an interim application for bail on health grounds on October 24.
The interim application, along with an affidavit, had claimed that the health condition of Mohta had been “precarious” ever since he was sent to judicial custody.
According to the interim bail application, Mohta had suffered brain stroke twice and was treated from July 6 to July 14 and again from August 21 to August 26 at SCB Medical College Hospital, Cuttack and AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, respectively.
