Visit corpn website to get voter details

Coimbatore: City corporation commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara has urged voters to visit websites www.ccmc.gov.in and www.tnsec.tn.nic.in to get details about the ward they belong to and cast their votes accordingly for the urban local body election on Saturday.
The websites have details of the main and supplementary voters list. Those who have difficulty in accessing the information online can visit the zonal offices of the corporation to check for details, the commissioner said.
Meanwhile, the third phase of allotment of officials for each booth by drawing names through a draw took place at the district collectorate.Collector G S Sameeran, Raja Gopal Sunkara and district election observer M Govinda Rao were also present during the allotment. The election observer said that 10,133 officials were allotted duty based on randomization for the 2,303 polling booths in the third phase.
More than 180 CCTV cameras have been installed at the Government College of Technology, where counting of votes will be carried out on February 22.
