Transforming India Conclave-2023 begins

Coimbatore: India is growing as a destination for FDI (foreign direct investment) due to its impressive infrastructure development, Lieutenant General Ajai Kumar Singh, General Officer-Commanding-in-Chief Southern Command of the Indian Army, said.Addressing at the second edition of the ‘Transforming India Conclave-2023’ organised by SSVM Institutions at Pattanam in the city on Friday, Lieutenant General Ajai Kumar Singh said India has the second largest road network after the US.“We are now the global IT hub. Millions of jobs are created through the IT sectors. Our country is now at the cusp of transformation. It has become the fourth country in the world to put a lander on the moon. We (India) have now set an eye on the sun. For further transformation of our country, we individuals should transform,” Lt Gen Singh said.Coimbatore collector Kranthi Kumar Pati and education reformist Sonam Wangchuk inaugurated the three-day conclave at SSVM World School at Pattanam on Friday.The collector said India has been shining in the service sector with technological advancements. Founder of SSVM Institutions Manimekalai Mohan said the conclave is a catalyst for the innovation and leadership that will shape the future of India. Secretary of SSVM Institutions S Mohandoss, director of academics at SSVM Institutions Srisha Mohandoss and director of infrastructure at SSVM Institutions Nitin Jey also spoke at the conclave.
