Tamil Nadu: Seven special police teams formed to nab killer

TIRUPUR: The rural police formed seven special teams to nab the killer of a 55-year-old destitute woman, who was found dead at Pukkulam bus stop in Udumalpet on Friday.

The deceased, M Dhanalakshmi of Kamaraj Nagar in Udumalpet, had been staying at the bus stop for the last five years. She was found dead in a pool of blood with her head smashed with a boulder.

Police registered a case under Section 302 (punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal Code and collected CCTV footage of the suspect from nearby commercial establishments.
