seeking action against a teacher for allegedly forcing their children to clean the school toilets. A video of the students cleaning the school toilet went viral on social media recently.
Talking to TOI, one of the parents P Semalai said the schoolteacher, Sudha, ordered the students to clean the toilets and broom the classrooms. “She would give corporal punishments to the students if they refused to do so,” he said, adding that the headmistress Mythili too supported Sudha on this.
The parents alleged that the teacher would force only SC/ST students to clean the toilets and to broom the classrooms.
