National Organ Donation Day observed

Coimbatore: To spread awareness about the importance of organ donation and to recognise the selfless efforts made by donors and their families to help the people who received a second lease of life, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital (SRH) observed National Organ Donation Day on Saturday. The families who donated organs at the hospital were honoured. Recipients of liver and kidney transplants expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the new life given to them via liver and kidney transplantations.TNN
