Krishnagiri collector congratulates paralympian medalist

Krishnagiri: Paralympic bronze medalist Nithya Sri Sivan was presented with books and bouquets by Krishnagiri district collector KM Sarayu on Monday in recognition of her feat. The 19-year-old paralympian from Hosur had secured the bronze medal in the women's singles badminton event in Paris. Nithya, who suffers with dwarfism is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Bengaluru. The collector congratulated Nithya and expressed hopes that she would achieve a gold medal in the 2028 paralympics.Earlier Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin and sports and youth welfare minister Udhayanidhi Stalin had extended their wishes to Nithya for her remarkable accomplishment.
