Four Bangladeshi nationals arrested in Erode district
ERODE: The Chennimalai police in Erode district arrested four Bangladeshi nationals on Saturday night for illegally residing in India. They were working at a construction site near Chennimalai along with guest workers from other states, police said.
Investigations revealed that they were working and residing in Chennimalai area without necessary documents, police said.
They were produced before the Erode district court that remanded them in judicial custody. They were lodged in the Puzhal Central Prison in Chennai on Sunday.
