Fire breaks out at incense sticks factory in Salem

COIMBATORE: IndiGo will operate direct flight services between Coimbatore and Navi Mumbai starting Dec 29. The airline will launch the new service amidst the ongoing winter schedule reduction.

According to an IndiGo source, Navi Mumbai-Coimbatore flight (No 6E 860) will depart at 9am while Coimbatore- Navi Mumbai flight (no 6E-861) will leave at 11.15am.

The source said the airline might start a new service between Coimbatore and Colombo by March 2026. "If the winter schedule restrictions had not been imposed, the Colombo flight would have been operational by now. But due to the ongoing crisis, slots for new services are not being granted. So, we expect it to become effective in the summer schedule. This route has high demand and has the potential for growth," the source said.
