DMK MLA inspects model road work

Singanallur MLA N Karthik

inspected the ongoing model road project work at Race Course here on Tuesday.

The DMK leader questioned the need to reconstruct the road that was already in good shape under the smart city mission when there were several roads, which need to be repaired in the city.

The project was launched by the municipal administration minister, S P Velumani, in June at a cost of Rs 40 crore.

Pointing out that many of the parks in the city were filled with thick vegetation, he said they wouldn’t be of any use to the public if the city corporation didn’t renovate them.
