COIMBATORE: The Crime Branch-CID filed a petition before the chief judicial magistrate (CJM) court in Coimbatore on Friday seeking police custody of three persons in connection with the mysterious death of

sought seven days custody of Amani Dhanji, 27, of Colombo, Madurai-based lawyer Sivakami Sundari and her friend, Dhayaneswaran. The petition is likely to come up for hearing on Wednesday.

Lokka died of a cardiac arrest at Cheran Maa Nagar in Coimbatore where he was residing in the name of Pradeep Singh. Amani Dhanji stayed with him while the lawyer and her friend helped Lokka.

Police arrested the trio for hiding the identity and citizenship of Angoda Lokka and fabricating documents to obtain an Aadhaar card for Angoda Lokka in the name of Pradeep Singh.
