City gets four new police officers

Coimbatore: The home department on Thursday appointed four new deputy police commissioners to the city.The new appointees were G S Mathavan (North), N Silambarasan (South),

R Sughasini

(headquarters) and

N Mathivanan

(traffic.)All the four were promoted to the rank of superintendent of police from the additional superintendents.Recently, city police commissioner

Pradip Kumar

was transferred and he was replaced with V Balakrishnan.While the new city police commissioner is yet to take charge, the deputy police commissioners are expected to take charge shortly.
