Cash in media kit stumps journalists

Bharathiar University

were surprised to find 500 currency note inside the media kit distributed to them by varsity staff.Minutes before the beginning of the convocation, a staff from the university distributed a media kit, containing a brochure, agenda of the event and a brown cover with university symbol on it. Reporters who opened the cover were shocked to find a 500-rupee currency note.The staff disappeared after distributing the kit. Soon after the event came to an end, journalists met vice-chancellor P Kaliraj and reported the issue. They also handed over the currency notes to him. The vice-chancellor said an inquiry will be conducted into the issue.
