Bank employee killed in road accident
Coimbatore: A 29-year-old bank employee was killed in an accident on the Avinashi - Coimbatore route on Friday evening. The deceased was identified as S Gowrishankar of Annur, who was working in Tamil Nadu Grama Bank’s Appakoodal branch. On Friday evening, after work, Gowrishankar was heading towards Coimbatore on a two-wheeler, when it crashed into a truck. He sustained head injuries and died on the spot.The Sulur police sent the body to ESI Government Hospital for postmortem. It was handed over to the family on Saturday afternoon. TNN
