Attacked by colleagues, says govt anaesthetist

Tirupur: A government anaesthetist have accused some employees of the Tirupur health department of attacking him when he tried to meet senior officials on June 2.Anaesthetist P R Suresh Kumar also said that a group of doctors are cornering him by not allowing him to join duty at Udumalpet Government Hospital from August. “I am being sidelined by colleagues after I brought several issues in the hospital to light,” he said. Countering his allegations, a health department official said Suresh threatened them with a knife on June 2. Police have made an entry in the community service register (CSR), but are yet to register an FIR.TNN
