Air India Express to launch Coimbatore-Singapore flight

COIMBATORE: Air India Express will launch flights between Coimbatore and Singapore starting November 18. It will also operate flights between Coimbatore and Delhi using the same aircraft.
The first flight will leave Coimbatore International Airport bound for Singapore at 11.15pm on November 18. It will reach Singapore at 6.15am (local time) the next day.
The flight will take off from Singapore at 10.40am (local time) and reach Coimbatore at 12.30pm.
The plane will leave for Delhi at 2.05pm and reach there at 5.05pm. It will take off from Delhi at 6.55pm and reach Coimbatore at 10pm.
“The Coimbatore-Singapore flight will also act as a hopping option for passengers who intend to fly to western countries. We are exploring options to label the baggage in Coimbatore as well,” Air India Express CEO K Shyam Sundar said here on Wednesday.
