Accused gives police the slip at CMCH
COIMBATORE: A
The accused, Vijayaraj, 23, was a resident of a refugee camp at Puluvampatti near Aalanthurai on the outskirts of the city.

Alerted by the public, police officials had rushed to the spot and arrested Vijayaraj. As he was also badly injured, Vijayaraj was admitted to CMCH for treatment. While taking him to his ward after taking medical tests, the accused managed to escape, a police officer said.
The district police have formed a special team to nab the accused.
