Coimbatore: 3 more hired goons arrested

COIMBATORE: The CB-CID, Coimbatore city, arrested three more hired goons in the last two days in connection with the Chennai Hospital ransacking case. The arrested were identified as Punithraj alias Cable Raja, 38, from Tatabad, Shanmugam alias Suresh, 38 from Rathinapuri, and Gokulakrishnan alias Rajesh Naidu, 33, from Sivananda Colony. Police said the accused were working under their leader Murthy, 45, a henchman from Rathinapuri. While Punithraj and Shanmugam were arrested on Sunday evening, Gokulakrishnan was arrested on Monday morning. The trio was produced before the chief judicial magistrate (CJM) court in the afternoon and later remanded in judicial custody.
