2 bike lifters from Sivananda Colony held, 3 vehicles seized

COIMBATORE: The city police arrested two motorcycle thieves and seized three two-wheelers from them after the owner of a vehicle caught one of them red-handed.


Police identified the arrested men as G Parthasarathi, 31, a dancer and R Dineshkumar, 41, a mechanic. They hailed from Anna Nagar at Sivananda Colony.

Parthasarathi, who was addicted to drugs, involved in two-wheeler thefts to fuel the habit, police sources said. “He had stolen the motorcycle of M Manikandan of Anna Nagar at Sivananda Colony on Friday night.
