CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu transport department has suspended the driving licence of popular YouTuber and moto vlogger TTF Vasan for 10 years.
The action follows an accident while he was wheeling on an expensive two-wheeler near Kancheepuram on September 18. Vasan was injured in the accident.
The regional transport officer (RTO) initiated the action based on the recommendations of the Baluchetty Chathiram police.
Earlier, the police registered a case against Vasan for rash and negligent driving. He was arrested from his friend's house and admitted to the prisoners’ ward in GH.
While declining Vasan's bail petition, Madras high court Justice criticised that “his bike can be burnt down fully.” The court rejected his bail plea for the third time.
Vasan is set to make his acting debut in a film titled 'Manjal Veeran,' collaborating with director Vasan. The film's first look poster was unveiled a few weeks ago. He also acted in the film Khaku Veeran, where he played the role of a biker.
Vasan runs a YouTube channel called 'Twin Throttlers'. The influencer makes videos of riding on expensive bikes and performing stunts.
