YouTuber Madan Kumar Manickam's wife Kiruthika arrested

CHENNAI: The cybercrime wing of the central crime branch (CCB) police on Wednesday arrested YouTuber Madan Kumar Manickam's wife Kiruthika for uploading obscene contents on YouTube with him. Madhan was absconding, police said.
The cybercrime wing cops registered a case under sections of the IPC, Information Technology (IT) Act and The Indecent Representation of Women Prohibition Act, 1986, after receiving more than 100 complaints against Madhan.
An investigation officer said, "The couple uploaded obscene content to make their channel popular. She is also the admin of the channel and uploaded the videos on YouTube.”
Kiruthika, 25, was arrested from her residence in Salem and brought to Chennai. Police seized a laptop, a desktop and a mobile phone from her. Further investigations were on to ascertain the whereabouts of Madan. The couple have a baby.
Police also inquired with Madhan’s father and brother in connection with the case.
