Woman found dead in forest in Tamil Nadu
KALLAKURICHI: A 30-year-old woman was found dead in a forest region in Kallakurichi district of Tamil Nadu on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as S Nirmala, widow of Senthil who was electrocuted while operating a paddy harvesting machine in Andhra Pradesh three years ago.
Her brother Mannivannan launched a hunt for her and found her dead in a nearby forest on Thursday night.
He alerted the Chinna Salem police, who registered a case and began investigations. The reason for her death was not known. The police haven’t ruled out murder.
