Vijay offers prayers at Shirdi temple

Chennai: A day after completing a pilgrimage to the Murugan temple in Tiruchendur, actor and TVK chief Vijay visited the Shirdi Sai Baba temple on Wednesday to offer special prayers. He was accompanied by senior party functionaries.

Party sources stated that Vijay will visit Velankanni in the coming days as part of an extensive pilgrimage to various places of worship. These visits are intended to seek a favourable outcome for his party following the 17th assembly elections held on April 23.



By visiting these sites before and after his maiden electoral contest for the chief minister's post, Vijay aims to reinforce that he treats and respects all religions equally.
